Peter Heard (Owner and Resident)
Peter has been closely involved with the running of the kennels with his late aunt for the past 40 years. He is an International Field Trial and Show Judge and has successfully trained and trialled gundogs for more than 50 years. He has made up Champions in the show ring and field under the affix "Dunroon" Irish Setter and Labradors.
He is a longstanding member of the Kennel Club and currently sits on the K.C. Field Trial Council and K.C. Field Trial Committee.
He is Secretary of the Irish Setter Association (England) and Setter and Pointer Clubs Joint Field Trials Committee. He has trained dogs for work on Films, T.V., Opera and the Stage.
He is also a professional Photographer and Writer and frequently gives lectures on working gundogs and Canine Behaviourism. He devotes a part of his time in helping dog owners with Training and Behavioural problems

Sara Jales (Resident)
Sarah has been with us for over 15 years having previously trained as a nurse, working in a large kennel and cattery in Kent where she specialised in canine and feline nursing.
Sarah has owned dogs for more than 20 years and successfully trains and field trials her own gundogs
Mrs Eleanor Heard SRN,RSCN
Eleanor has owned a variety of breeds for 40 years and has veterinary experience. She has trained her own gundogs and worked them on shoots and at Field Trials. She is a member of the Kennel Club
Our policy is to employ permanent staff who are familiar with our clients and their animals. At the moment, in addition to the above, we have three fully-trained, permanent staff, all of whom are dedicated pet owners who also breed and train their own dogs for show ring and field trials.
